When Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said earlier this month that none of the major parties have escaped having MPs suspected of being compromised by foreign agents, he was refuting NDP leader Jagmeet Singh’s claim that nobody in his caucus has any such involvement.
The PM has known this since March, when he read the full version of the bombshell report from the all-party National Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliamentarians, which claimed that Canadian politicians and senior bureaucrats are helping foreign agents undermine our democracy.
