A new poll suggests a third of Canadians don’t recognize Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, even when they’re shown a picture of him.

An Abacus Data survey published on Monday found only 66 per cent of respondents could name Poilievre, who is widely considered the frontrunner to become the next prime minister after the next federal election.

As such, Poilievre’s recognizability fell below Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (who 98 per cent of respondents could name) and NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh (84 per cent), though both have led their parties through multiple election campaigns, something Poilievre has yet to do.
